My motto is

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Vegan meal ideas

There are certain times when i just dont know what to cook or what to eat. Its so easy to just eat the same thing over and over, especially when you have to be economical, but it can get boring to eat the same thing over and over. Some people love it, but i personally find that if i eat the same thing too often or all the time i will end up finding food and eating boring, hence why i try to vary as much as possible. And ive found that just varying up spices used when cooking or boiling sweet potatoe instead of baking it, or doing a stir fry of vegetables instead of baking them or making a lasagna using lentils instead of just lentil soup makes a huge difference!! If you want i can make a post about how to vary foods/tastes/different meal ideas with just simple and basic vegan foods! For example maybe try overnight oats, oatmeal pancakes or baked oatmeal instead of plain old oatmeal!! :)

  1. Izzy, I am really really worried about you. I am reading your blog for about a year and I really like your personality, your inspiring writing, your positive thinking.. But as you have a CF, I started to read more about this disease because I was really worried if this is a dangerous disease. And I found out that people with CF live a very short time.. ca. 30 years... Maybe this is a sensitive subject for you but if you don't mind, may I ask you if the doctors told how long will you live? How did you cope with this fact? And how is your CF health going? Please tell me if you can because I am so so worried... :/

  2. It would be great if you could write a post about simple variations of basic vegan foods. I tend to get caught in that trap of cooking something only a certain way (sometimes because its the only way I know how to) or repeating a dish a little too often! So yes, that would be really helpful and maybe give me some ideas :)
