Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

  1. The overnight oats recipe looks divine!!! I'll definitely need to try that :)

    1. I've tried overnight oats several times... but nothing beats freshly cooked oats hahaha!

  2. This all looks wonderful! This is a bit of a random question, but were you involved in any sports in your school before university. If you weren't would you want to be and what sport.

    1. No I wasn't.... I've never been so active within school activities or extra curricular activities!! I did however play basketball for my school team when I lived in Ireland and I did play different matches and was rather good... but since then I haven't!! I did however want to start a running group while I was in high school but I didn't feel I had the time or energy to try to start a group as well as not wanting to be the "leading coach" so I never did that. But I'm sure it would have been fun if I did.

  3. I love the idea of Brussel sprouts and sweet potato - one to try for sure as sprouts are my favourite at the moment :)
    Thanks for posting these!

    1. It was sooo delicious! If only brussel sprouts and sweet potatoe were always in season!

    2. Sweet potato are available all year round here in the UK - not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing though, I mean surely all veg has a season?

  4. could you post your recipe for kale and onion pie? Thankyou!

    1. Oh I'll see if I can find the recipe link!!!
