Life without Anorexia

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.
I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.
I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Self love Sunday
Sunday morning and i think we should end this week with some positivity and self love. To notice and remember the positive things about ourselves. It is so easy to get stuck with negative thoughts, whether its negative thoughts about your life, yourself, situations, negative solutions or just stuck in the comparison mindset. Thinking positive is about making the choice to think positive, wanting to see the positives about yourself, life, different problems and solutions!! At times i can get stuck in the negative thought spiral where i just see all the negatives about myself or think i amnt good enough or everyone else is better, and that type of thinking doesnt bring anything positive and is just draining of energy, so instead i want to change those thoughts to see the positives and the things i am actually good at, and i think you should do the same :)
Self love isnt silly or unnecessary, it is infact very necessary and i think we need more of it and people should practise more self love!! So in this post i want you all to comment 3 things you love about yourself or 3 things which are positive about yourself!! For some it may take time, for others maybe not.... but comment and share some positivity about yourself!!
I'll start off with my own positives!
1) I am good at trying to make the best of all types of situations and trying to see the positives and solutions rather than the problems and negatives.
2) I am good at listening to my body and taking care of my body (most of the time!)
3) I like the way i can self analyze and make changes when necessary.
4) I like feeling strong and feeling capable of doing different things thanks to a strong body and mind
These were the positives i could think of for now, but i must admit i did sit a while before actually coming up with ideas... its not always easy, but then its even more important to take the time to actually find the things that you love about yourself and the positive things about yourself!!!
