Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

Vegan Christmas inspired recipes

I dont really know what your typical christmas dinner is in your country but here in Sweden it is alot of chicken, meat, salmon, egg, herring, beetroot sallad, potatoes etc So i am going to make vegan versions of those foods and maybe some more vegan saffron buns and cinnamon buns and then use fake meatballs as well as plenty of potatoes, vegetables and of course bread!! :) Christmas as a vegan shouldnt be so hard but of course i will have to prepare my own food!!

Maybe this year you can make some vegan dishes? Or maybe try meat substitutes instead of real meat? Or maybe if you bake you can try making vegan versions!! (And note vegan isnt just vegetables, so dont be afraid to use oils, vegan cream, vegan butter (i.e potatoes with melted vegan spread and salt = AMAZING!), vegan chocolate etc!!!)

Below are some suggestions for vegan christmas foods - if you have anymore suggestions comment down below!!

These Vegan Roasted Garlic & Herb Dinner Rolls are so good! They're also easier than you'd think. They can be made in regular roll shape, or into these pretty knots. I LOVE the knots - they look so fancy but really aren't much more work!

  1. I have been wondering what to do for Christmas so these recipe ideas are very useful - I particularly like the idea of sprouts and hazlenuts, thanks for posting!
