My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Vegan meal inspiration

The past few days i have sort of lost my food motivation as well as appetite, so just eating for the sake of energy. So this post is partly for my sake (needing some more vegan food inspiration) but also that i know others appreciate these posts... so if you arent interested in this type of post, just skip it :)

  1. H I Izzy - how about inviting your flat mate to have supper with you one evening? That will get your creativity going again and you won`t feel it is a waste of time cooking for two as you may if its just you? Or maybe browse the shops for something really yummy and just going home and cooking it - maybe something you have had before and like, maybe a craving or something completely different to experiment with?

I've thought about that, but she has lots of stomach issues and can't eat alot of fiber and most of my meals have alot of fiber... but maybe one day I will make a meal for the both of us, haha! For now I'm juse eating for the sake of it, but I know that my appetite and joy for eating will be back!!

  2. Haha i know the struggle sometimes girl. Though since turning vegan it has become easier to come up with more nutritious meal ideas for me personally. Also ifyou need inspiration just snap me in the late afternoon or so if you like and i'll tell you what i'm planning on having or we could swap some ideas maybe? ;) Tumblr is awesoe btw for vegan meal inspo. Alsways love your reposts on there as well hahah.

A plantc based diet definitely leads to more creativity and experimenting in the kitchen but I find that with a student budget there isn't much room for creativity or experimenting.... such as I would want to make lots of different dishes but don't have the ingredients, hahah. Tumblr is great though for inspiration and simple vegan meals!! I guess just switching up different flavours such as onion powders or garlic or chilli make a huge difference to a meal!
