Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Full day of eating- food diary

It's been a while since i last did a food diary and it has been requested that i do more food diaries for inspiration. I dont know how often i will do them as i never remember everything i eat, but also that it can be triggering.

My appetite hasnt been the best today as i am feeling a little sick, but here is what i ate today:

Morning: 4 crisp bread with "butter" and vegan cheese & coffee with soy milk

Snack: 2 huge apples and 2 clementines

Lunch: Lentil soup with sweet potatoes and carrots and vegetables.

Snack: Vegetable soup (made in school) as several pieces of breaded swede (i.e just swede that has been coated in flour and then fried in oil) (the others in my class ate swede that had been coated in egg and flour and fried in butter )

Dinner: Lentil soup with carrots, soy meat and vegetables and 2 handfuls of peanuts and 2 crisp bread with "butter" and vegan cheese.

Dessert: 2 more crisp bread with vegan cheese and butter & a some chocolate-peanut ice cream!

Night snack: 2dl oats with chia seeds, cacaopowder, sweetner and 1 scoop vanilla soy protein powder and a huge handful of salted peanuts.

Everyday is different, somedays i eat more, some days i eat less... but this was what my body wanted today... even if that means eating 8 crisp bread with vegan cheese and butter in a day and several handfuls of nuts. Thats the energy and fuel my body wants :)

  1. I always like to see these type of posts for some vegan meal or snack inspo indeed. Must be a bit annoying to always count in for you to not trigger anyone on the blog or not??
Anyway this all sounds like a simple yet nice day of eating :) Hope you feel well soon again!

    1. I don't really know why someone finds it triggering? But everyone is different and I guess as long as I don't do them too often it shouldn't be a problem... hahaha. It's always a mix of some hating these posts and others loving them. I can't please everyone I guess!

  2. I never find your food posts triggering - they are an inspiration for foods I can try myself!
I hope you are feeling better today :)
