Life without Anorexia
My motto is 'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'
I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.
I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.
I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.
I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

You are in control over your life and choices
Remember that the choices you make today will affect you in the future, whether its 5 minutes from now, 5 days from now or 5 years from now. Yyour choices are what steer you in life. Each time you "choose" to listen to your eating disorder you are moving further away from healthy. (even if i know eating disorders arent a choice, in a way you ALWAYS have a choice whether to eat or not eat/purge or not purge/stop binging or continue binging etc even if one of the options is harder than the other, you have the strength inside of you to make the hard choice, you just have to do it.)
The way you think, the choices you make they all have an effect and consequence, whether itbe a positive or negative consequence.
Start thinking about what effect your choices in life have. Are they bringing you closer to your goals and dreams? Are they making your happier? Are they having a positive outcome?
Begin to take control of your own life. Stop doing what others are doing or just following the crowd. Focus on what makes YOU feel good, focus on what YOUR goals in life are, focus on what is best for YOU and YOUR mental and physical health.
Realising that you are in control and have the control over your own choices and that it is you in charge over your life and actions/consequences can be very liberating, but also empowering and important to remember.
It's your life so you have to think about what you want in life and what you have to do to get there. Focus on the positives, focus on your healthy and realistic goals and take control over your own life!
