Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

My first vlog

Hello!!

First update of the day and that is with a vlog over my morning. I had plans for the day and plans to make a more exciting vlog... but well,  bad weather, tiredness and with school work to do it resulted in not actually doing anything. But i had started vlogging and i wanted to atleast upload what i had vlogged to try my editing skills and to see whether regular vlogs would be appreciated on here as well?
Image result for do you ever have plans for the day

Of course, i would then vlog when i actually do stuff... if i dare, haha. I dont really know where i am going with my social media at the moment or what i am getting out of it, or if i even have the time or energy for social media.. but it is kind of fun to vlog and i would like to just sit and talk and share thoughts and be ore open through a camera and videos... so who knows! Anyway, this was my first time and so i mean i am starting off at 0 but thats ok for me!

If you have any BLOG or VLOG suggestions, please let me know :) And hit me with questions or topic ideas so i can get my creativity going again!

  1. Hi Izzy! I loved your vlog, and I would like to encourage you to continue doing them! Personally, I found your first vlog awesome, because IT IS REAL! This is how a day might turn out: not doing anything special! :) That's it!
I enjoyed watching it, and would love to watch more!

  3. What is your ideal day during a uni semester/term? Is it when things fall into place and essays flow for example or due to something else?

  5. Please do more vlogs! I really like to know more about you so please don't feel like you always have to make advice or recovery related posts or videos. Also this makes me want to study in Sweden just so I can get to spend some time with you hahahahaha :)

  9. Hi Izzy - I`ve got a question, do you think in the future if/when you have a family of your own you will educate your children in the awareness of eating disorders or be extra careful and watch out for any sign that it is happening to them?

  10. Good morning Izzy! Have you thought about doing a "simple" cookery vlog - like when you demonstrate how you do things? Such as how do you prepare and cook tofu - I want to try it but haven't a clue what to do with it or how to prepare/cook it? Or you could demonstrate your raw food vegan cake, or how you make your pizza bases?
just an idea! hope you are well and had a good weekend:) did you get my email with the attached photo of my new kitten?
