Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email:

Ask me questions - veganism? My life? University? Depression.... answering in videos.

Hello :)

I am sorry for the lack of update on my blog recently. Stomach pain, tiredness and studying has been the reason for that as well as not having anything to write about. But i now have 5 days with no lectures (just studying for my test) so i thought i would try to make one or two videos answering your questions - but also try to write some posts!

So.... I am planning to make a video about veganism - so if you have any vegan related questions ask me i.s whether its food related or how i feel, or noticed any differences or just my opinions or thoughts or any advice you might want.

And then if you have any other questions whether its about my life, university, eating disorder help/advice etc and i will do my best to answer the questions or write a post about the topics :)

And lastly i might make a video talking about my depression, depending on how i feel and whether i feel ok publishing it online or if i just want to write.... who knows!  And of course some time within the next few weeks i will try to make a "what i eat in a day video" but as i have had so much stomach pain and just lived on basic food it isnt so much to show, hahah.

I hope you are doing ok and have a lovely weekend and a lovely day :) I am going to enjoy my study free day today as i need a break from all the theories and abstract knowledge i am trying to learn! :)

  6. Hi! I just wanted to ask what your family/relatives and friends think of your decision to go vegan? Were your parents supporting of your decision or did they try to change your mind? I want to go vegetarian so so bad, but my parents wont let me because of my bulimia (which I am almost recovered from! :D ). We sort of made a deal that I can eat vegetarian food if I eat meat at least once a week and if I am offered food at friends or relatives places I have to eat that food even if it includes meat. Do you think this is a good compromise? The reason I want to go vegetarian is that I simply don't like the taste or consistency of meat, and I shouldn't have to eat something I don't like, right? Do you think I should keep try to convince my parents that vegetarianism is good for me or should I just let it go?
