My motto is

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Weekly segments?

Hello and good morning :)

Due to lack of inspiration i thought maybe i should start with weekly topics/segments. Of course i dont want to be repetitive, but maybe have different themes? Such as once a week write a post about exercise if you have any questions about that such as what i do or about resting or running, and once a week maybe write a food diary and once a week maybe write a post about veganism or give advice about vegan products/non animal tested products i have found, or just things you can do for the environment/planet?

This summer i wont be doing so much so my life isn't so exciting, but i would like to start vlogging or making videos, just because i feel that would be a good step forward and maybe a fun thing to do! But there won't be so many personal posts about what i do and such, as it most likely wont be so interesting hahaha. And i guess as each day passes the further i am from my past of an eating disorder, but i will of course try my best to answer all of your questions/comments as best i can :) But sometimes it is hard to come up with advice/inspirational posts when those problems are no longer present problems of mine. I feel like i am turning more into a form of lifestyle blog, hahaa.

But maybe i could share recipes or food inspiration, or make a weekly vlog (ok, that was optimistic!), or you can share topic sugestions or questions you have which i can try to make posts about, and then also have the weekly segments.

Let me know what you think or what there should be more/less of :) Whether you would be interested in some types of post or if some posts would be triggering!


  1. Weekly topics sound like a good idea. I can understand your reasoning about growing away from your time with an eating disorder and I`ve said before, your blog should represent your life now, not always be in the past which I can appreciate must be hard for you at times, after all you have moved on from that period in your life and your blog should reflect that.
    Ofcourse I find your advice posts helpful but a balance between what was then and now maybe will be more beneficial to you as you can write about things important to you in the present rather than what has passed, and like you said, we can always ask questions if we need to!
    I love your personal posts too and are interested in what you do day to day, even if it doesn't appear interesting to you. A weekly food diary sounds good as does advice about veganism and matters of the planet and environment. Exercise and video topics also sound great, I would be interested in these too.
    I`m all for the new ideas - and maybe I`ll come up with some new topic suggestions to keep you busy too :)
    You`re doing a great job with your blog and I look forward to the "new look" !

  2. oh and perhaps posting the recipe for something you`ve tried/cooked this week? That would be useful as I often like the look of the food you have photographed but have no idea how you made it :)
    Personally, I have never found any of your posts/pictures "triggering" - inspirational yes but they have never affected me negatively.

  3. It'd be nice if you maybe did a post with interesting links you have found eg. articles, which I think you used to do before.
    Perhaps post with your opinion on a given topic? Such as a reader would give you a topic and you would write what you think.
    These are what I thought of now, maybe I'll have more ideas later haha. I understand what you mean; you can't really write about a fear food you just ate or how different your behaviour was to yesterday's etc, as those are things that happen whilst recovering. Have you got plans for the future regarding your blog? In my opinion, the best you can do is show people that a recovered life can be great, which I think is often feared :)
    Btw, I love how passionate you've become about the animals and the planet! You could definitely influence a lot of change with your blog too :>

  4. I feel like whatever you want to do you need to let it take you!
    I love the sound of all the ideas you have! I would love to see some running posts as I am a budding runner my self, but also love the idea of food posts and cruelty free products! :)

  6. I agree with the link suggestion - maybe links for further reading on the environment/animal testing issues? articles about the subject you have written about?
    And some nutritional information would be helpful too
    I think your blog is great now but with these changes its going to be really exciting! Thankyou so much for all the hard work and time you commit to your blog, its already helped me so much and I`m sure its going to continue to do so.
