Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

What I ate Sunday

I'll try to make this a weekly segment as some have requested.  Though not sure I'll always do it on Sundays.  The days I remember :)

Breakfast: 3 slices of home made coconut /oat bread with peanut butter & a vanilla protein shake and handful of salted peanuts & 2 big cups of coffee with plenty of milk

Lunch: chicken with pesto pasta & cottage cheese (bought salad) & 150g chocolate covered ginger pieces

Snack: 2 pieces of home made bread with peanut butter

Dinner: 2 quorn burgers with sweet potatoe fries & cottage cheese & mix of vegetables

Snack: strawberries with greek yoghurt followed by rice cakes and peanuts.

  1. The coconut/oat bread sounds amazing. And peanut butter it always a good idea. Especially with apples :)

Yeah I adapted a recipe which was a banana bread but as my body doesnt digest bananas so well I used one banana and the rest apple sauce and used pay flour as I had no white flour and coconut oil as I had no butter. .. and it turned out well. But I didn't measure anything so I can't give out my adapted recipe!
