Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Reminder: Whether you feel like eating or not (& other reminders)

If you’re hungry, eat. There’s not a ‘right time’ or a ‘right amount’ or a ‘right place’. Somedays you’ll eat more, somedays less. People assume that calories and carbs are the enemy, but think about it. When you don’t listen to your body, you feel crap, moody, tired, without energy, right…? So here’s the trick. EAT. You’ll feel happy, content, full of energy, full of LIFE. It’s so simple, yet so many ignore that hunger. Please don’t. FOOD IS FUEL.

How you feel on the inside, is more important than what you look like on the outside.

  1. I know this is a really awkward topic, but please could you write a post on constipation and the foods that cause or help this? I know there are some on your blog and I've read through them but if you could include the bloating that comes with this, please? I'm at a healthy weight and have been for over a year but I've only recently stopped eating according to a meal plan. So some days I really under eat and others I eat a lot and feel so gross. Balancing this is so hard. And the only time I'm not that bloated is when I don't eat enough. It's a really vicious cycle.

    1. Ive answered in a post today, hopefully that helps if not comment if you need more advice :)

  2. I would be interested in this too. I get constipated really easily and on days when i don`t eat so much are the only times i`m not bloated.

    1. Ive answered the previous anonymous question in a post, so hopefully that will help you as well :)

  3. Sorry Izzy, I know you're not feeling great at the moment but when you do feel better and have the energy and time for a post, I'd really like to read something about this

    1. Ive answered the first anonymous' question in a post so hopefully that will help, if not just comment and let me know if you need more advice :)
