I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.
I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.
I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.
I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

The true test is loving yourself on the bad days
The true test of self love is loving yourself on your bad days. The days where you wake up and you just feel wrong, the days where you don’t feel comfortable in your body, the days where you would r rather not look in the mirror. The days where you change outfit 5 times just to try to feel comfortable.
Its those days that there is a true test of self love. On the days that you are very bloated and feel uncomfortable in your own body, then its easy to resort to bad habits thinking that that will make it better. When infact that will make it worse and the best thing is to be kind to yourself and show your body love and respect and that will make it easier to cope the next time you feel the same way.
On the bad days, the days where you don’t feel right in your own body, try to treat yourself the way you would treat a friend or a child. Feed yourself nourishing food, drink enough water, get enough sleep, try to get some daily activity or stretching into your day. Maybe snuggle into a blanket and watch a film or series, or maybe do some colouring or painting or sit and write. Take a long shower or bath, clean your face and moisturize, wash your hair and just make yourself feel refreshed. Wear comfortable clothes, often loose clothing is best. And most f all, gve yourself pep talks and motivate yourself. Be your own cheerleader and have a mantra to keep you thinking positive and don’t let your body control you. Learn to accept and love yourself even the days that it feels impossible.
And on the days that you might hate yourself personally, such as your personality or you wish you were someone else. Then it is important to try to love yourself and remind yourself that you are good enough and you don’t need to change or be anyone else. You are good enough just as you are, and you don’t need to change personality, unless there are certain negative qualities which could be improved or gotten rid of. But everyone is different and has different personalities and just because some people behave a certain way doesn’t mean that you have to behave that way as well. Self love is key and on the tough days it is even more important with self love. It is an everyday thing and it gets easier eventually. Just be kind to yourself and keep yourself positive and motivated and remind yourself that you are awesome and don’t need to change.
