I hope that all of you who celebrate Christmas have had some lovely days and been able to enjoy yourself. And to those of you who don't celebrate I hope you have had a new few days and maybe gotten some extra rest and relax time?
My past few days have been nice, alot of family time! There have been timed where it's been too much and I've needed a break and times where I've felt so distant from everyone and everything but I've made the best of the situation and been able to mostly enjoy myself. I am not going to ruin another Christmas, I've done that far too many times in my life!
On the 26th we drove to my step dad's parents house where we ate a late lunch with some other family members there. It was a Christmas inspired lunch but not the typical Christmas food which was nice for a change. There were also loads of snacks - raw food balls, nuts, kale chips, chips, fruit and grapes and normal chocolate! As we thought we were going to eat lunch when we got there (but ended up having to wait 2 hours ) the 4 of us (my sister, mum, step dad and myself )were all super hungry so pretty much stood and munched on those snacks! ! So aside from the food and body comments received it was a nice afternoon and evening, mostly anyway!
Then on the 27th it was my mum's birthday so we ate pancakes for breakfast and then my sister and I headed to the gym, but on the way home... when sitting on the tram I realised that I couldn't find my bus card. The panic sent in and we had to jump off and run back to the gym to see if it was there. .. but we couldn't find it so instead we had to walk home. I've lost my bus card far too often (this was my 5th or 6th time just this year ^-^) so i felt angry and irritated. But there was lunch waiting for us when we got home (yayy) and then a few hours later I got a message from someone on FB telling me they had found my card. ^-^ (my name is on my card) and I was so happy, so hopefully I will get it back today!! Then the evening was spent with a stomach like a black hole which meant lots of food!!!
Then this morning it was a long walk in the snow with Daisy, some meal prep and now I'm off to the gym wuth my sister before meeting friends, then getting my bus card back hopefully and then maybe sushi dinner with my sister!!!
Only a few days left of the year, and I'm going to make the best of them!!!
