Life without Anorexia

My motto is

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

Sunday 1st November

Can you believe that it is already November? Time just flies by like crazy... January doesnt even feel that long ago.

But I am not going to get negative over the cold and the snow which i guess is on it's way soon, instead going to embrace the winter and find the positives. Such as warm hoodies and warm beverages and not to mention that showers feel even better. Also the coziness of just sitting inside wrapped in blankets when it is cold and dark outside.  It is actually ok to go to bed at 8 or 9pm... it's dark outside, so why not. The weekends feel more cozy in a way. It's kind of normal to feel like you have less energy and you feel more low when the winter coldness and darkness hits in (for those countries where this happens anyway...) but you just need to make the best of the situation. Because there isn't so much you can do about it unless you move somewhere warmer, otherwise you just have to accept the winter period and all that it entails.

How am I spending my Sunday? With my head in my maths book and also watching some math tutorials... though im not going to spend my whole day like that, but the majority anyway. I got up early this morning so i felt like being productive by going for a walk, heading home and then making myself waffles for breakfast.... so much yumminess!! Though the chocolate spread was super sweet and not to my liking, but i tried it anyway, but i think i prefer the natural chocolate peanut butter or the natural hazelnut spread.

I love waffles so much, and am definitely "Team Waffle" over team pancake!! Which do you choose? :)

I really should make a waffle appreciation post as i have so many waffle pictures, haha.

    I love both waffles and pancakes, besides life is about a balance, so why can't one enjoy eating both? Haha Lol X

    1. Haha that is true :) enjoying both is a good thing!! I think I just lo r the crispy-ness of waffles :)

  2. Help! I love running but I am HORRIBLE at it. I joined the cross country team at my school and I'm one of the the slowest one there. I could be faster, except I joined with my friend (slower than me) and I like running with her because its easy and we talk a lot and gossip. (not horrible, regular cheezy teen stuff) Anyways, today is the day after halloween and I ate way TOO MUCH candy. Also, Cross country is over and I just go on occasional easy 30- 45 minute runs. Mile pace is about 9-10 minutes. 5k time is around 27-28. From the start, I was never a twig (pretty stocky, always have had a bit of a belly, also incredibly short (5 feet) so that doesn't help. So the point is, I barely exercise, eat a lot of junk food around this season, and am not at all skinny. I know Im never going to be a twig, but I want to be healthier and get better at running. Have any suggestions or tips? Thanks.

  3. Any suggestions on suffering from cold, i just can't keep warm and i dread winter cos i just can't hack the cold and its hard to go out and its all too much
