Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Positives of the day

This morning was a sort of chaotic morning where nothing turned out as i had planned and the morning just went wrong. I barely had time to eat breakfast and the morning just wasnt as i thought it would be. But thats life, its just to move on and make the best of the situation.

And as it feels like forever since i last did this, i thought i would write some positives of the day!!

My lunch.... Sweet potatoe fries, guacamole, peanuts and True Transparency.

This combo has been a craving of mine for ages, i just havent done anything about the craving. And now that craving is gone... must have been something in those food items my body needed/wanted.

That feeling of euphoria when what you are studying begins to click and leave reminders in your brain.

Its not "extremly" cold outside... its managable!!

I did a kind act and bought my sister a book as she is home sick :)

My study snack: 4 rice cakes with different topings and a questbar.

Cuddles with my dog... though this only works in the morning when she is still half asleep. Otherwise she hates cuddles.

I sent the first 3 packages in my "food swap"!! Its taken me so long to do, haha. Once i recieve my packages i am going to do a video where i try the different stuff.. so going to have to wait to try the stuff until the video, haha.

Lying in bed and watching a series after doing all my studying for the day!

Ice cold cola zero drunk throgh a straw.... sooo good!!!

Just some of my positives of the day :)

Do you have any positives you want to share? :)

  1. I am really excited for the food trying video - those are always fun to watch :)

    1. Hahah. Hopefully it works out ok!!

  2. Your meals are amazing. I wish I could eat like that as well :( and that was sweet of you to do that for your sister. I am also excited for the video of trying the food. Have a nice evening.

    1. Thank you :) not sure if you mean you want to eat the amount I do or the foods I eat? But either way... you can. You can eat more and you can eat different foods! You just have to try. I hope you have a lovely day :)

  3. I'm excited for your video! I hope your day improves form the chaos of the morning. :)

    1. Thank you!! I hope you have a lovely day/evening today :)

  4. My positives of the day - -

*Feeling better (and SO thankful), for your reply to my email!

    * Getting outside.. after so long isolated
    * Eating regularly all day.. after so long of a backward spiral
    * Smiling again :D

Thank you Izzy! The only way is change, going forwards again, one step at a time..

    1. I am so proud of you!!! :) Stay strong and keep the new change, stay focused on recovery and not sliding back into old ways. small steps forward all the time :)

  5. My positive -
went to the dietician today and got weighed......and I have gained! so that is good, scary but I keep telling myself it is so - my efforts of putting my own meal plan together are paying off at last.
