Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

Wednesday morning motivation

Good morning :)

It's school time today and I am very short on time this morning, no idea why so this is just a short post to say I hope you all have a great day and that you do one thing that moves you closer to your goal of healthy/recovered. Small steps forward everyday will make a difference in the long run, so just do something that scares you or something that your mental illness is stopping you from doing.

Also make today a good day, be kind to yourself and be kind to others. Do something you enjoy and find fun. And even if you can't do those things because you are inpatient or just canät do anything you enjoy, then atleast try to make the best of the situation. Remember that how you are feeling now and your situation now isnt forever. You can make changes so that your situation changes!!

I know hearing those types of things can be annoying.... sometimes you dont want to hear that it gets better or that you can change things, but sometimes you just need that constant reminder. Even if it is tough, it can get better if you give it a chance to get better!!


  1. Are you feeling better now? hope your school day goes well for you and you also manage to treat yourself after all that studying! A goal for me - I`m doing lunch today for the first time in I don`t know how long so if I manage to do that it will be a huge achievement. And treat wise I found some white hot chocolate on Amazon so I brought myself some - looking forward to drinking that :)

And even if it doesnt go well the first time, you can always try again and it might go better :) Yummm white hot chocolate sounds amazing!!
