Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Tuesday morning

Good morning.

I'm sitting here in my matching  purple running gear, which was a bit of a coincidence XD and drinking my matching drink.
First up its a walk and listening to a podcast. My absaloute favourite way to start the day, it makes me feel good physically and mentally which is the important thing and listening to the podcast always seems to brighten things a little!!! Then breakfast time and errands to run. Going to try get all the "outside and in town" things done today so that tomorrow I can just be at home and try to pack. Though I honestly have no idea whether I have to buy things to take with me or not... maybe an adaptor, that might be good or sunscreen. But those are the only things..... but I haven't thought so much about packing so I'm pretty sure I will forget 50% of what I need but then ill just buy it there hopefully. Maybe I should buy myself some bars and bags of nuts to have with me as snacks, important that I make sure to eat enough while I'm away and what better than granola bars and nuts to snack on!! I'm excited about the food that im going to eat while away. I know there will be alot of fish and sea food, but otherwise no idea.... but I'm sure it will be delicious.
If you have been to portugal/Lisbon are there any meals you would recommend or food or dessert I have to try? Or things I have to do/see? :) comment below!

Otherwise this evening all I am craving is my bed, a film, lots of snacks (why are snacks and snacking so much better than full meals? ) and just doing nothing. So that is my reward for the day if I manage ro get everything done. The thing motivating me to actually go into town, because I would much rather skip it... skip running errands and getting things done. I'd prefer to lie in bed, but sometimes you just gotta do what's gotta be done. That's life and well,  having a reward at the end is always a good motivator!! :)

Below are some photos from my walk. It was so beautiful! Small things like that make me happy :) also after I had stopped to take photos at the beach and tried to take selfies I began walking back and realise there was a man sitting on a bench with a huge smile on his face. He had seen me stand there take photos and take my selfies with my typical peace sign!!!Hahah.  Teenagers now a days XD oh well, I don't really care what people think when I take loads of photos, ask for someone to take a picture of me or when I begin taking photos of food.  As long as I don't take pictures of others or post pictures of others without their permission then it shouldn't matter! !

Hope the trip to the shops goes smoothly. Maybe some interesting fellow-shoppers around, or things on the shelves...
