Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

I challenge you to only think positive thoughts for a day

I thought i would do a little challenge on my blog today.

I want you all to think positive today. That doesnt mean that you wont get any negative thoughts, but that you fight them and think positive ones instead. I believe that positive thinking is a great thing to implement in your life and to focus on. It is something you need to keep working on until its not something you think about, but you just naturally see the positives. It will help you alot in life, it keeps you from stressing lots, it makes you happier and in general a nicer person. Most people are caught up in negative thoughts... its easier that way. Its like we're tuned to see the postiives, to complain, to feel angry and complain about everyone and everything. But changing those thoughts to more positive ones will make you feel better and then maybe that positive energy will spread to others.

So today i want you to change any negative thoughts to positive ones. Start your morning with positive thoughts, about life and yourself. Dont let the negative thoughts win.... think nice things about other people and yourself. Dont be afraid to compliment others today, to nice gestures and be nice to yourself and others. Try it.... for the next 24 hours, try to think as positive as possible and see what happens....

  1. Chanllenge accepted! Today we are having cake (my mother's birthday). Thinking positivly might help with the anxiety and feeling of disgust/ guilt/ fat... I will enjoy the cake and be happy about it!
