Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

Vegetarian Lunch buffet

Hello :)

This day has turned into a very positive day, and not at all like i had thought.

I started my day with a gym session, focusing on legs as i dont want to do anything which makes me stretch my arms above my head or makes the skin on my ribs "drag/spread" so to say. But hopefully tomorrow it will go okay and then in the weekend it shouldnt be a problem to run (so my top doesnt rub on my ribs/skin stretches).

Then when i got home my mum asked me if i wanted to go for lunch with her... and who says no to lunch, especially when you dont need to pay. Hahah. But first a coffee, then paying bills (fun part of being an adult) and then we headed off into town where we were going to try a new vegetarian buffet. Though we got there at 2.45pm and the buffet closed at 3pm, there was a bit of food left so we decided to stay and eat there anyway and we got 50% off the price, so for both of us to eat at the buffet it cost 99kr = roughly €10 = not alot at all. Considering that for lunch in Sweden you pay between 80-200kr. And the food was delicious as well as very filling!!! When it comes to vegetarian buffets you never really know what it is you are eating, so by the end of it you sit there with a burning mouth, watering eyes and a round stomach from all the fiberous food as well as being super full. Or that was the case for me today anyway, hahaha. I didnt think i would be so full after my plate of food, 2 pieces of bread and pumpkin soup... but i was super duper full. I felt like rolling out of the cafe, haha. Feels like my stomach size has shrunk recently... this is just an observation of myself, it feels like i cant eat the same amount i could before... i physically feel fuller alot earlier than before, so my normal portions (which are actually big) fill me up alot quicker :( Sounds weird, but i hope its just a phase, hahaha.

Anyway, now i am home again and debating whether to go to the lecture/learning meeting for the job or not. It begins in 2 hours and it will take me an hour to get there... though i am not so sure yet, i'll see.

This was my day anyway, how has your day been? :)

  2. I've just started in a new class, and like 75% of the girls are really skinny. I was a bit triggered at first, but then I thought reasonably and continued as nothing happened. I don't care now FYI... But today I found out that two of them has anorexia, and one of them has bulimia as well! :( I don't know them, so I don't wanna be nosey in their business. But it's really sad and I remember being that skinny while sick :(
