Life without Anorexia
My motto is 'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'
I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.
I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.
I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.
I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at: email@example.com

Kindness - sprinkle that everywhere
One of the things I love most about people. One of the things that makes me smile the most. Kindness is not always or easily found, many people are so stressed and focused on themselves that they forget about kindness. Or some are so focused on self hate that they forget to be kind to themselves or others.
I personally think kindness is a very good trait. I always say please and thank you. I hold the door and smile at people. I wait a little longer to hold the door when I see an older lady on their way in. I say thank you for the food I get at cafees or restaurants and I say thank you/have a nice day to those working in stores. I try to be as kind as possible, even if I don't always remember. Everyone has their bad days.
But I believe that being nice to others, genuinely complimenting others will bring good karma to you. And bring a smile to others. .. Because let's be honest isn't it nice to hear "have a nice day" from a customer when they leave? Or someone holds the train door open for you as you run towards the doors. Or someone let's you go infront of them in the queue when you just have 1 item. Those are nice things to do. And hearing compliments can be such a positive and kind thing in a persons day. I don't think others realise just how much a smile or small positive compliment can do for others. Whenever I can or genuinely mean it, I compliment others. Or even send a small nice message. Not all messages have to be serious, sometimes just hearing something small or something nice, a kind message can be such a booster for people. Like when I get positive and kind messages or comments, it really means a lot to me and puts a huge smile on my face. Especially considering that 95% of comments/messages I get are all serious ones and asking for help, so then it's nice sometimes when it's just a small "thank you" or something else to put a smile on my face.
Kindness. ... It really doesn't take much. But makes such a difference in other people's lives. This week (and always) we should focus on being kinder to others AS WELL as ourselves :) More kindness is needed in the world :)
