Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Waffles on a Saturday morning

What better way to start a Saturday than with waffles and good company?

This morning i made 2 sets of waffle mix, one for my sister which was gluten free and the other one for me!

The rest of the day my plans are to workout with my sister - this time a shorter one, though not sure whether it will be in the morning or afternoon. I might workout in the morning and then be her PT in the evening! I also want to do some baking today!! I've saved a few yummy recipes i want to make, and i havent baked in a long time, so it will be fun :)

And for the majority of the day... it will be a horizontal position on my bed with my laptop infront of me and colouring pens and paper around me so that i can watch series and colour at the same time.

Almost forgot, saw Magic Mike XXL yesterday... it was an awful film. No plot, pointless and i just dont like those types of films. I didnt have any high hopes for the film, but the tickets were free so why not, but i wouldnt recommend it. But everyone is different and everyone likes different films, so i am sure there are some who like that type of film. Personally.... i am more about the mental thrillers and real life creepy films!

Atleast i had snacks... so that made it better XD

  1. Haha. Magic mike is awful!! I only saw the first one, or rather ten minutes of the first one, then walked out of the theatre because there was just waaay too much nudity!! Ugh. I'm also havimg a coloring craze instead of studying neuroanatomy... :-/

    1. Ohh yes thats how i felt about this film... i hadnt seen the first one because its not my type of film, but thought might as well give it a go and see this one. But nope, reminded me why i didnt bother to watch the first one!! Ohh, haha i hate when that happens. Its like when i know i need to study but want to read a book instead XD
