Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Ready to go camping

Friday evening and just after finishing all my computer work!! Feels good :) There are now 3-5 posts each day for the next week... Yes i am a little proud of myself :) I have tried my best to answer all of your questions, so within the next week there should be answer or post about your topic. Though i didnt get around to all of them, unfortunatly. So then it is just to comment again or email me and i will try my best to answer sometime after the 11th or 12th :)

I dont know where we will be camping, whether we will be in Sweden or Norway, but we will be driving around and staying where we can when we feel like it :)
Hopefully not too much time will be spent in the car, but we are planning to arrive at our first destination tomorrow afternoon (leaving 6/7am ) so then hopefully i will get a chance to stretch my legs :)
I packed so many things today.... a whole bag filled with just work out clothes (cant wash clothes XD) and another bag filled with other clothes and warm jumpers, towels etc and then things like pen and paper and colouring pens to keep me entertained. Though i never got around to borrowing a book  - that would have been nice to have!

We have also done a little food shopping, though we are plannig to just buy food along the way instead of one big food shop, it might be easier that way. We'll see..... :) My boyfriend loves camping and has been camping for most of his life, so he knows what he is doing which is good :) We also set up the tent in the backyard and it was simple to do, which is a relief, i can actually help and not mess it up completely!! :)

Have any of you gone camping before? Do you like it? Yes or no? Do you have any stories from camping? Any tips or advice?

I personally havent done any camping in my life.... all the insects, sleeping in a tent, not having electricitiy.... not really my thing. But this can be a good thing for me, hahah. Too comfortable in my life and routines in an apartment, now its back to nature!!! Also excited about all the new areas i will get to explore and adventure... all the new areas i can hopfully run. I am so excited :):)

Anyway, comment if you have any tips/stories/advice etc :)

I hope you all have a great week and i will try my best to answer comments if i get a chance, but if i dont have any internet, then personal posts will be up sometime during this week or in a weeks time :)

  1. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to a great or a disasterous experience - if it turns out positive it is going to make it significantly harder to not get out in the nature.
I guess, deep in my heart, I wish you a wonderful time. Besides, either one of us is going to be happy regardless!
No but seriously, make it amazing :)
