My motto is

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Monday Meal inspiration

I was asked if i could give some meal ideas i.e different from my own typical meals which dont vary so much. (hahah i am guilty of being a 'phase' eater!) But i thought i could make it a weekly post thing where i give a few suggestions for breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack meal inspirations :) And then if you dont like these posts then you can just skip them but know that they will be on Mondays or something :)

Let me know if you think i should make it a weekly thing or not! It might be good inspiration :)

Breakfast:

Toast with avocado and fried eggs!



Oatmeal with peanut butter and banana



Muslie with milk, fruit, juice, smoothie, bread with egg

Snack:

Bagels with peanut butter and syrup (Or my favourite combination... cream cheese and salmon on bagel!)



Sweet potatoe fries & dip



Banana topped with nut butter and granola

Chocolate peanut butter oatmeal balls

Lunch/Dinner:

Home made burgers: Veggie burger/Falafel burger/Fish burger/Meat burger etc with fillings and bread & some delicious sauce or some avocado or cottage cheese!




Pasta with tomatoe sauce or pesto & whatever else you want to add like some chicken/tofu/salmon/veggies



Wrap with bulgur & veggies. But you can add whatever you feel like adding. My personal favourite is hummus & fried eggs in a wrap!

  2. Great ideas! I know from personal experience that peanut butter/banana oatmeal is amazing. The quesadillas with banana and peanut butter as well (my sister and I found it also tastes good with warm pita bread). Adding walnuts and whipped cream to the oatmeal is also a must:) Have a great week, Izzy!
