Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

How to find the right running shoes

As you all know i love running and an important part of running is having the right shoes. Trust me... if you have the wrong shoes you can end up with injuries as well as feeling slow and heavy while running. But when you have the proper shoes, that is like half the run!

My suggestion if you want to get more serious with running, go get your running checked to see how you run, how you can improve if necessary and what shoes are best for you. It may be a little expensive, but it is worth it  :) I got it done and got told that i needed special insoles which i needed for both my running and daily shoes. At the time i didnt really have the economy to buy the insoles as they had to be made specially for my feet. But once i start earning my own money i am going to invest in those because i know that i need the insoles and without them i will just be causing damage to my feet, knees and hips and eventually even worse back pain.

So... check out this guide below and if running is something you like and want to continue with, then know that proper shoes is very important!!!

  5. I have a really severe overpronation and ASICS is the only ones I can wear. Just a tip to everyone with the same problem. All other brands have given me blisters.
