Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Compliment others without bringing yourself down

Something that ive noticed happens far too often us that people compliment others while bringing themselves down.  For example you look soo good why can't u look like you.  Or,  you look amazing I wish I looked like you. , you have the dream body/ body goals. I mean it's great that you are complimenting someone else, because we need more of that. Compliments,  however you don't need to bring yourself down while complimenting others. Tell someone that they look good without saying you wish you looked like them.... Because you are YOU. You will never look like someone else and you don't need to either. You need to learn to accept yourself and be happy in your own body. But also learn to compliment people for other reasons than their body. .... Because I can tell you, being told I am smart, funny,  clever, a great baker, I am strong, a fast runner etc are much better than being told I have a nice stomach or am "body goals".  . I am more than my body.  But also those compliments are so appearance based and not about the actual person or what they are good at etc

It can also be important to learn to compliment others because you want to make someone else happy and you don't expect a compliment in return. But also give honest compliments, the worst thing I know is fake compliments..... Learn to give more frequent, honest compliments without saying something negative about yourself.
