Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

If you have any questions leave them in the comment section as i am much quicker at answering there, otherwise you can always send an email: lifewithoutanorexia@hotmail.com

2 days without blogging - 2 day recap

Hello :)

The past 2 days I decided to check go 2 days without blogging (and not feel guilty ) off my 101 things to do list. Granted the blog wasn't completely empty or post less, but that made me feel less guilty about not posting anything.  Instead I decided to not even open Blogger or my blogger app.
I really didn't have much to write anyway. We arrived back in Stockholm around 11.30pm on Tuesday after more than 12 hours driving (with a few pauses). It feels crazy that we had been at the north of sweden/finish border and managed to drive the 1000km+ to get back to Stockholm.  Felt so surreal but awesome to lie in a bed again.

Wednesday we didn't do much as we both felt so tired.  Instead we had a while where we both just sat and did our own thing, taking some time for ourselves.  Ate a late breakfast/lunch. I got a stomach pain and began feeling dizzy so had to lie down for a while but began to feel better in the evening, and then we ended the day with snacks and two films!

Thursday I started my day with a visit to the gym, felt so good to be back again!! And luckily I can take a bus that stops 20 minutes from my gym, though it takes around an hour to get to my gym from my boyfriends place and around 15-20 minutes travel or a 30 minute walk to get to the gym from my place. It could be worse but taking myself to the gym, working out and then travelling back again always takes several hours, but luckily I don't think my boyfriend minds! On my way back i decided to buy myself a new perfume which i have had my eyes(or maybe i should say my nose?) on. I got a presentcard for my graduation so i decided to use that to buy Escada's new perfume:Born in Paradise.  It is so summery and delicious and it is enough with one spray!!

Then when i got back we made pancakes (using a normal pancake mix) for lunch! One of the positive things about my boyfriend knowing about my blog is that now he doesnt question when i take food photos.... it would be pretty weird otherwise! XD

Pancake #1 out of 4!

The rest of the day we didnt do much and in the evening i headed home as i need to take care of my dog this weekend! :)

Feels good to be back to normal blogging again, it is a part of my daily routine and if i am honest i dont know what to do with my time otherwise.... ive just sort of sat around thinking i should write a post but then realising that i dont have to, that there have been posts scheduled and i havent had so much to write anyway.  But i promise to try to reply to all comments from the past week in the next few days :)

How is everyone doing otherwise? :):) Do you have any plans for the weekend?

¨^I love the lighting in my boyfriends place because it actually looks like i lift, hahaha.

The next few pictures describe me pretty well!!

    1. I havent really been answering emails the past 2 weeks and I've been too busy/haven't had time to reply to comments so much. So I'm not ignoring you, just haven't had time :) and with your emails I might not have gotten them, though unfortunately I don't have time to answer every email I get as I get around 10-20 each day.

With the sauce... not sure which yiu mean, the quark? Or do you mean in another picture? :)

  2. HAHAHA I loved the second description picture! Typical of me too, it's as if money suddenly becomes monopoly money when it comes to food. Actually, maybe that's the reason it is so hard to indulge on other things when it comes to buying... You know that if you were to behave the same way than you do regarding food, you'd end up broke ^^ - Carine. (check that, it's been made for you >> http://anf.scene7.com/is/image/anf/hol_92926_01_prod1?$productMain-r-hol$ )

  4. Don't feel pressured for us!

Now that you asked, I can't say that I've been doing great. My novel turned out to be a sharper double-edged sword than I had imagined. My wild rambling on the plot combined with a sudden rush of hormones has destroyed all the trials to sleep. I've slept a few hours on three nights this week. That really shouldn't happen at this very moment as the novel has just reached the final chapter and I should give it my 200 % now.
I hope the melatonin will kick in at some point.
