Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Everyday is waffle day

Another day and another opportunity to eat waffles!

I wish i could say that i had some super fancy recipe i use but nope, whenever ive followed a waffle recipe or tried creating my own it just doesnt work. The only time my waffles work are when i use mixes... so i vary between a protein pancake mix, a really good gluten free mix and just a normal wafffle mix where you add butter and water! All 3 taste great :)

It's Wednesday today and i have no plans so i am going to just take this day as it comes... see what happens.
But hopefully it will be good weather so  i can spend the day outside :)

Onto another topic... on Friday it is midsummer and that usually means big celebrations here in Sweden. Every year i have had plans and celebrated, but this year i had no plans and i was a little worried that i wouldnt celebrate this year :( But i've now got plans to travel out to a little apartment in a village with my mum and step dad and we will celebrate midsummer there!!
Though... the awkward moment when you will have to share room with your parents because the apartment is so small -_- But it is better than being alone on midsummer!!
So i think we are leaving tomorrow afternoon and coming back on Sunday afternoon!

Midsummer is mostly celebrated in the Nordic countries... as far as i am aware.
Do you celebrate it in your country? Are you aware of what midsummer is? :)

We don't celebrate midsummer in Germany, but on saturday there is a small open air 'festival' in our town. That's going to be nice :)
