Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Color me Rad 2015

Home after a super fun morning runnning the color me run 5k!

The actual course wasnt 5km and i was finished in 19 minutes - the whole race went far too quickly. I just wanted to run again, haha. But it was fun to be covered in paint, to jump around and just have fun. Though i must admit, it would have been fun to be there with friends, felt just a little bit lonely ;)

If you ever get the chance to run colour run or colour me rad i recommend you do it :) It really is fun and a great experience!!!

Below are some photos from the run :)

  2. I'm running the color run on the 20th and I can't wait!!! I'm doing it with some of my friends and they don't run like I do so I think we are going to walk it. I was wondering if you had any advice/ideas on how to make it fun or just what to expect or prepare for???

    Thanks! Hannah

    1. That's so much fun, enjoy yourself ;) it's just fun being there, all the excitement and other happy people! !There isn't so much preperation, walk it with your friends and enjoy it!! Take lots of photos and wear clothes/shorts/pants which yiu aren't worried about getting ruined. Also think about how you are getting home, as you will want to shower and wash your hair and not get colour everywhere!! :)

  6. This looks like such a fun run to do! I did a half marathon by myself a while ago and I know what you mean about feeling a bit lonely. Hopefully the crowds cheered you on though and made you feel less lonely? That's what happened to me and it felt great! You look so colourful - what are those blasts of colour that go over you for? Sorry if that's a stupid question! Xx

Well it's called the colour run/colour me rad and the point is that you get covered in paint/colour when you run!!makes it alot more fun and not just running.... for those people who don't like running ;)
