My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Breakfast is the best meal of the day

Most people say that breakfast is the best meal of the day, or the 'most important'. But in all honesty i think night snacks are the best!! I am never so hungry in the mornings so i eat just because i know i have to... i need energy. Though of course, some mornings i wake up ravenous and could eat the whole content of the fridge! But thats one reason why in summer i like when i can get up, go for a walk or just have some time in the morning before i make breakfast so that i am feeling hungry!!

Todays breakfast consisted of waffles (4 made from a protein pancake mix & 2 normal waffles), berries, hazelnut spread & BCAA's (which arent really necessary to drink when you eat as they should be consumed on an empty stomach, but i love the taste so i drink them anyway!)




Yesterday i had planned to blog but everything took so much time. Public transport wasn't working as it should so i eventually came home around 3pm feeling super duper hungry as my access to food had been very limited throughout the day. So it was just to make myself lunch and a snack at once and then the series watching began.


   And i dont know if i should be proud of embarrassed to say that i spent the next 5 hours infront of my computer... sort of anyway. There were pauses as i get so restless or to make myself a coffee or refill my glass etc etc
  Today the series watching will continue.... need to know what happens XD and then i can socialize and do other things for the rest of the week, hahaha XD


Anyway, so tell me....  What is your favourite meal? Breakfast... lunch.... snacks... dinner? :)

    My favorite meal is dinner. The whole family sits together every evening and we spend a nice time together. It's funny how it changed.. during my anorexia it was the meal I was really afraid of. But now I love it. Doesn't matter what kind of food we eat :D

  2. Not hungry in the morning either, so night time snack is my favorite, too :) how do you like the new OITNB season? I haven't Started watching it yet, but once i do i know ill get hooked. (As I did with the previous seasons!). Have a nice day :) Just got back from the forest with my dog :)
    Ps: every time I try to comment from my phone the comment gets deleted. So annoying. Sooooo many times I have written comments, but they never get posted so you dont get to see them :/

    1. I finished it yesterday and it was ok.... though not as good as the first or second season and I didn't think the last episode of the season saw so good :/

      That's so strange ? I wonder if it happens to other people as well...

  3. I 'enjoy' dinner the most as I get to sit and talk with my family, but the food/portions still make me anxious. I think my favorite meal though at the moment is breakfast as I get to relax and do my thing before I sit down and eat. Your Waffles look amazing btw, I'm still scared to eat pancakes/Waffles which makes me really sad cause they're my favorite:( but j can't do chocolate in the morning! That's just so weird to me haha!! Then again I've never really been a Nutella girl;) BUT have you tried it with a peanut butter sandiwch??? (Again, makes me sad cause j can't have that anymore. I had it years ago:( )
    Thanks for the pics thoufh! Can yoy do what i ate wednesday posts?? I know it's wrong but they give me strength. And just out of curiosity, how do yoy make your waffles?

    1. Well you CAN eat waffles and pancakes or PB sandwiches. It won't do anything to your body or weight. The voice in your head is lying.... so why don't you make yourself some pancakes or waffles and face that fear. Because you CAN. They are not dangerous they are delicious.... Ask yourself why others can eat those foods and you can't? If you like them, then you should!!

      And I'll do what I ate Wednesday sometimes if I remember :) but remember you shouldn't be living or 'eating' through me.... you need to actually fave fear foods and eat food for yourself :) :)

  4. Breakfast is defiantly my favorite. When I'm at school we have a buffet style thing so there are so many things to choose from and tons of fruit and yogurt!! Except there are some dinnery foods that I love like falafels mashed potatoes mac and cheese etc. Ooh and then there's dessert!! Ok to many good foods to choose a favorite meal time so I think I'll just do with all meals/snacks are my favorite :p

      Hahha best answer... It is very hard to choose just one food or meal because all food/meals are delicious!

  5. I used to absolutely HATE breakfast. It got to the point where I would skip it all the time. But now, I've discovered cereal that I love (and would eat for every meal if I was allowed to :p) and I can make waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, muffins, fruit salad, and omelettes!! There are so many yummy things to eat for breakfast, so I think it's my favourite meal of the day.

Breakfast is my favourite, maybe its cos it has the foods i like - cereal, fruit and yoghurt or maybe its cos its the start of the day and thus emotions haven't got in the way yet, thou not on weigh days and then breakfast is really hard.i would like to eat more fruit and veg but even that is calorie controlled small portions. i love fruit and veg and seeing all your wonderful concoctions makes me really want to broaden my choice of foods. I was bought up on fruit and veg so it feels horrid to not have as much as id like x
