Life without Anorexia

My motto is

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

Being able to do whatever you want on a Monday

Hello :)

It's Monday and it feels like my first day of holidays and freedom. (Though I've been on 'holiday' for a few weeks now.) But my boyfriend has gotten his holidays for 3 weeks now so I have been able to spend my whole day with him,which has been nice :)

We haven't done so much today, but that is exactly what I needed today. We have just slept in, relaxed, went for a walk to the beach and sat there with a drink each, took a power nap and ate a delicious dinner and some snacks infront of a movie. A really nice and relaxing day!!

Otherwise, I am really excited to start my new strength training workout plan (created by myself) where I am going to decrease my cardio and just focus on strength training. Though I don't think I can begin with this plan until after my boyfriend starts working again because these next few weeks I will be travelling and camping etc and it's hard to find time to go to the gym when I am with him. But I am excited to start feeling strong again and building strength again!! I love running as well though don't really feel like running distance so much recently, mostly want to focus on strength training now!! A bit of variety :) but during these next few weeks I will just do whatever exercise I feel like or have time for :) depending on where I am and what I'm doing :)

Tomorrow will be another day of doing what we feel like because the rest of the week I have plans and places to be.... so need to enjoy time outside and just doing what I feel like :)

  1. What are those potato looking balls on the top left? They look yummy! I went a to an electric festival last night so today will be spent relaxing as well :) you should post more on your workouts. I miss that aspect of your blog, I always enjoyed reading about them!

    1. Yeah, i miss those do. All the progress and stuff..I dont think that it should be considered as triggering and if this is a big part of your life why wouldnt you talk about this:S

    2. Or if it is triggering, maybe you could write it on your other blog - the one about excercise :)

    3. The potatoes are called potatoe croquettes, or something like that :) For someone who doesnt like potatoes they actually taste ok :) And that sounds like a lovely day :)

      When it comes to exercise, it is a big part of my life but i got some complaints that i wrote about it too often and i dont want this to be a workout blog. So i dont write so much about it... i have struggled with exercise addiction myself, so i dont want to trigger my readers who struggle with that and i know there are many of them. I stopped blogging on the other blog summer 2013 because i just didnt have the time or motivation to write there... didnt feel as fun as writing here. So even if i want to write about exercise i also need to think about my readers. :)

  3. What does your boyfriend say about you taking pictures of food? Do you eat the same thing as him? How do you decide what to eat?
