Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Dog watching and enjoying the sunshine

Tired and sore!! That is what describes me today!! Despite resting and sleeping yesterday I woke up feeling sore and tired today... so rest was and is the main thing for today! And what better way than to spend Friday evening and Saturday at my boyfriends parents house acting as dog watchers while they are gone.  They live sort of in the country so it's forests and adventure routes which I will explore tomorrow. As well as having a beautiful view of a lake and a lovely garden where we sat and bathed in the sunshine!!!

My plans tomorrow are to just take it easy as well. Relax and enjoy the sun if it's sunny, though it is supposed to rain alot tomorrow :( I guess it's just to wait and see!!

I also want to thank you all for the congratulations HOWEVER I haven't graduated yet ;););) 10 more days to go. I've just finished all my school work, but the grades aren't set until tomorrow and then I still have all of next week to be in school  (apart from sports day and house day!) But still have 'lessons' to go to!!!

On Sunday I am going to take some pre-graduation photos where I wear my outfit and I will share a few of them to give you a sneak peek of my outfit.... Because I am totally in love with my dress and shoes!!! :)

How is everyone doing? How has your week been?

  1. Have a good weekend! :) I want to ask if you have any advice to recover sooner from muscle soreness? I've started dancing again and now my quads and glutes hurt so badly, I can't even get up from my chair. Hahaha. Help would be appreciated :)

  2. It's the best time of all when there's no need to do anything and yet you're not losing any of your summer break. I finished my semester today and the grades were alright. Now I just need to find the mindset for a couple of weeks of kindergartening as my summer job. Perhaps I'll get up with the plan I've had on my mind for too long and start writing for real. Whether that'll happen or not, I'm so full of joy for the freedom.

How soon will you have to start preparing yourself for some boards? My intention is/was not to stress you out, though. Oh, yes, and how's the weather (going to be around the next days) in Stockholm? I'm at my dad's just now and that's on the countryside, too. My mind is loading up with incredible efficiency here - our weather is getting better and better. I hope you will have as great of a time then!

  3. I hope you sleep well tonight! I just sent you an email and am looking forward to a response. Hope all is well, as always. :)

  4. Same here! Enjoying some relaxing time and sunbathing as we're suppose to get thunderstorm for the rest of next week... Dancing under the rain! It's getting really humid here though so we all end up with hair like the Lion King, not always that pleasant haha Random fact, but I stumbled across a new thing they have somewhere in Europe, Bailey and Limoncello Magnum! Do you guys have them in Sweden?? xoxo - Carine.

  5. Sounds like a fun weekend! the picture at the lake above looks beautiful, have a great weekend!:)

  6. The photograph of the lake is truly stunning - enjoy the view whilst you're there! I can't wait to see the sneak peek photographs of your graduation outfit, I'm excited for you!! Xx
