Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

Dare to be yourself and know what's best for yourself

In a world where it is so easy to follow other people's lives. What they do, what they eat, how they exercise - if they do. It's so easy to become a follower..... just do what other people do. Not listen to yourself or what to want to do.... everyone is doing some new diet? Well I'll do it as well. Everyone is wearing uggs, then me too.... nobody eats dairy, then I won't either. (These are examples - and I don't follow these!)

But you need to be able to be yourself.  DARE to be yourself.  DARE to do what YOU enjoy. Have your opinions, ideas and thoughts.  Know what is best for YOU. Just because one person jumps doesn't mean you have to as well... know yourself best. Who cares what others are doing?  The aim is to be happy... but so many people live unhappy lives because they are followers. They don't dare to be themselves,be strong enough to not give a f**k what the the trends are.  It's tough to do it,but it will lead to happiness when you do what you know what is best for you. I know that I love running, I love being strong, I love eating big meals, I love lying in bed and watching series, I love exploring and adventure running in new places. That doesn't mean you have to like that as well.... We are all different and unique. Know what you enjoy, find who YOU are and what you enjoy!!!
