Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

The week flies by so fast

Good morning :)

It's crazy that it is already Saturday XD On Tuesday i begin school again and then it is my Swedish national test which i have 4 hours to write  a short essay. I am not ready for school to begin again but i know that it is roughly 7 weeks until i graduate and that is nothingif you compare with all the years i have spent in school already!!! Its a little nerve wrecking, anxiety evoking but also exciting!! Talking about school wasnt the main focus of this post though :)

Yesterday evening i ate dinner with A and his parents and it was nice, his parents are so sweet!! I remember how i felt the first time i was going to meet them -  I was so nervous, but now it's just nice to see them, haha!!!
This morning i started my day with a run and i tested a new route which i had found while looking at the map yesterday and i realised that i can actually run from my place to A's place. It's 13km (If you dont get lost) so i could easily run that. So i tested running half the route and then back again and it wasnt too complicated. Sometime in the near future i am going to test running the whole way - just bring my running stuff to A's place and then in the morning if he is working i can just run home!! That would save so much time because then i can run and i run home and then its just to begin studying/whatever else i have planned for the day. Instead of running an hour in the morning then an hour getting ready and then an hour travelling, instead its just an hour running home!!! (Some random information) But i find it super fun if i am able to run the distance without any complications :)

Onto another note this evening i am going to one of A's friends parties which will most probably lead to going out to a bar/dancing. Not sure how excited i am for it, i am not in the mood to drink or get drunk. So i will see how i do, but hopefully i have fun anyway. That is pretty much my plans for the day.... the time from now until we leave will just be sort of spent 'waiting' i think, hahah!!! Loading up with caffeine and most probably a powernap so that i have energy to stay awake all night. (From what i know about A and his friends they can be out until 5 or 6am, so we'll see how i manage!)

I hope you all have a lovely day!!!

  1. HI Izzy, I found this really inspiring video which i think you could share with your followers ->

  2. Running from point to point is so fun and efficient! It's my favorite way to get in a run AND get to where I need to go.

    1. Yes definitely!!! Though I also love when I can round a route outside and then come home and change and eat a delicious meal at home instead of somewhere else!!

  3. you look stunning! i'd love to cope with myself like you xoxo
