Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

One more day and one more assignment

Today has felt alot like Thursday as i am so fully aware of the fact that tomorrow at 2pm i will finally be on my Easter break! I will also hopefully have sent in my last assignment which is due (or deadline is at) 4pm tomorrow. I am longing for tomorrow to be over, just so that i get that...' Finally free' feeling!

Onto my day, if anyone cares. A pretty nice day, i have had so much energy recently - and all natural energy (i.e no extra caffeine.. in all honesty, i have drank alot less energy drinks and coffee recently but had so much more energy!). I think its the sunlight - i'm like a plant or flower, i absorb sunlight and grow/energize :) Today has been a day of work and productivity, though the time has just flown by. Didnt manage to get half of the things done i had intended, but atleast sent in a lab report as well as did a french test - which hopefully went well, and this evening i sent in my English essay which i was adamant about sending in today and not tomorrow! It all feels very good right now, and despite having to cancel plans to see A because of my english assignment and my deadline tomorrow, it feels ok. I will spend lots of time with him during the break, but my school work comes first.

To celebrate almost Easter break, i made some waffles with yoghurt, almonds and dark chocolate as well as a new found addiction - Wake up Energy (which tastes like redbull!). (Though like i mentioned above, i havent been drinking so much caffeine, but one tablet is equal to around 1 cup coffee!)

After spending my evening studying, some form of 'throw together random things from the fridge dinner' I am now going to have some me time and watch a series or film with my delicious night snack: Egg white oatmeal, almonds, casein a rawfood bar and green tea!
Trying to vary food as much as possible, for my own tastebuds sake and to keep up with variety! Though oatmeal with casein and waffles are my 2 addictions at the moment and all i am craving!

Too much food talk, i'm sorry. But felt i wanted to share 2 of my meals from today!!!

Also regarding emails... sometime this weekend or next week i will get around to answering emails again. Though as you might be aware, this week has been crazy busy so havent had time or energy to answer emails, but i am trying my best to atleast keep my blog somewhat updated and answer your questions :)

But if you have any questions know that you can always comment here and if i dont get a chance to reply, there is usually someone else who will :)

And before i forget... POSITIVE OF THE DAY!

It was sunny, i had an awesome morning workout, waffles, French test done, English essay sent in, Lab report finished, soon its sleep time, i am feeling happy, i have loads of energy. Its soon Easter!!!!

What are your positives of the day? :)

  1. I love when you post food pictures, it motivates me to continue eating, please keep doing it :)
btw in your opinion what it's the best cereal?

    1. Whatever cereal you enjoy is the best :) choose one you like whether it's cocoa pops, cornflakes,Muslim, shredded wheat, cookie crisp etc etc or even granola etc

  2. Do you eat dinner? I mean arter this meal and before your night snack?

    1. Yeah after the waffles i did, but today it was just a random throw together somethings from the fridge so it wasnt a big dinnner like usual :)

  3. how do one use casein ( do you mix powder with something? - looks delicious!!:))

    1. Yeah i mix one heaped scoop with water :)

  4. Im on break, i just got room service, im going to the beach tomorrow, i feel happy, im finally on a bed and shoes are off, my hair is clean :) your waffles and posituve are both amazing!!

  5. My positive today was eating hot cross buns for the first time In 3 years. Hot cross buns are special easter fruit buns that are yummiest warmed up in the microwave with melted butter! I had forgotten just how amazing they tasted. (I haven't been able to eat them as I was too scared up until now). Here in Australia, as well as chocolate and fish (not together haha) hot cross buns would be our most traditional easter food. What traditional easter foods are eaten In other countries?
