I think veganism is great for some people and i would like to go vegan however i dont think i would be able to eat the right energy amount for my body but also that i do love chicken, eggs and protein bars (which contain whey = lactose) and other non vegan foods too much. So i dont think i could do it. However i do think that one day i might do a vegan month or week.
I am guessing you mean plants? And in all honestly... i dislike plants alot. I cant seem to keep them alive. I forget to water them, forget they need sun and to not just sit in a corner of my room somewhere. My mum loves plants and we have loads of them at home, but i cant have any in my room.
Ohh wow... i dont think i should write anything about this online. It can be a very sensitive topic, but also i dont know the full story. So i dont feel its my place to write anything, and i dont know how much of an opinion i have .... some of it is very crazy, but once again. I dont know the full story so i cant really say anything :)
No i dont like alcohol, i get tipsy/drunk very easily. I dont like how it messes with my mind and also the feeling the next day. I am an all or nothing person when it comes to alcohol, either i drink nothing or i drink too much. But if i were to say a favourite? Baileys is pretty good and cider :) And i have tried some red wines which are pretty delicious but it definitely isnt a common thing for me to drink.
Have you ever tried Lithuanian beer? Have you ever tried kvass or whatever the name of it is in Sweden if you have it there?
I dont like beer, so i havent tried many versions of beer. However my boyfriend loves beer so he is trying to get me to drink it and i have tried a few sips of his beer but its not to my liking at all!
Which cuisines would you like to try? Which have you tried?
Hmm, i have tried a few different cuisines, but i am not so knowledgable about all the different cuisines and such so can't really answer this :)
Do you like sci-fi movies? Star Wars?
No i don't, i find them a little long and boring. I am more into the suspense and mental thrillers :) Some action movies are good, but some are also too over the top, making them boring and unrealistic. I like films which are realistic :)
How old are you?
What do you think about the Swedish/scandinavian nutrition recommendations?
I don't really know what i think.... i don't even know what the nutrition recommendations are? I just follow my own body so i dont really know what the recommendations are. However i do know that Scandinavian countries are often seen as very healthy countries where people eat healthy and exercise which is true, mostly. You can't generalize a country and say that everone in the country is healthy, because that is not the case. But there are alot of health food products and stores! One thing though which i don't fully agree with is the extreme consumption of dairy in Sweden - lots and lots of it is being eaten and i think the amounts are a bit too extreme (myself included, i mean lots of quark, yoghurt, milk, cottage cheese etc). Sweden also has a very high number of people with lactose intolerance or IBS and i definitely think there can be a correlation between the two, but for many years people have always been told to eat lots of dairy. (Just some random thoughts!)
I was wondering why a set of 8- 12 reps is said to be most effective?
It all depends on what your goal is... whether its stronger, muscle gain, resistance etc... so its not that 8-12 is better than doing 20 reps or 6 reps. But it depends on what your aim/goal is. 4-6 reps is for strength (using heavy weights so that you only manage 4-6 reps), 8-12 is for muscle gain and 15+ is usually for endurance and resistance training.
(Of course, there is so much more to muscle gain/strength etc than just doing 8 reps X 4 set.. its not that easy ,haha)
