Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Workout selfies and afternoon snack

It feels like its been forever since i have posted any workout selfies on here.... granted, this blog isnt a fitness or workout blog and i dont write so much about exercise here, but i thought i would post some of my 'high on endorphines' selfies from this mornings workout! :)
It might be time for some progress photos as well... hahah. Though my aim isnt to change my body and i dont personally think so much has changed in the past few months... unless you count the winter protection i have gained :):) (Dont take this too seriously!)

After that it was school where i was productive and got quite a bit done as well as some free time where i could just sit and watch random youtube clips during my break :) A mix of productivity and procrastination!!

^Felt like this today!

When i ended school all i wanted was a mix of everything - chocolate, salted nuts, quark etc felt super hungry today! So after picking up a package containing a box of Cookies and Cream questbars (nom nom nom) i made myself this delicious snack:

Greek yoghurt mixed with quark, blueberries, granola, dark chocolate, salted cashews and an energy drink!

This evening it will just be lots of blog writing - trying to answer all comments and write topic requests as i dont think i will check my blog all weekend, so want to make sure there are some posts to read :)
So leave a comment if there is anything special you want me to write about and i will try my best to do that... and maybe record a video or two tomorrow if i get a chance :)

  1. Are you still a virgin?

    1. That's quite an innapropriate and awkward question to ask someone ....

    2. hahahah. Not really an appropriate question to ask. All im going to say is that im in a good relationship.

  3. Happy Thursday (even though it's almost over for the night!) Looks like you had a great day-workout, school, youtube, delicious snacks!!!

    Enjoy your Friday tomorrow!!

  4. Could you tell us a bit about the style of yoga your mum teaches? I'm curious as there are so many different styles! :)

    1. A post about this is coming up tomorrow :)

  5. This snack looks so healthy and good. I have been craving a lot of carbs lately. It's this normal? I keep choosing bread for snack instead of veggies and proteins. I'm allergic to nuts, so I can't snack on those :/

    1. If you crave carbs then eat carbs, your body most probably wants more energy :) You can also try eating oatmeal, muslie, crisp bread, pancakes, waffles etc but bread is a great thing to snack on :)
