Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Positive day

Today has been one of the most positive days in a while... though of course my weekend was super and loved every moment of it, i mean more 'weekday'/'schoolday' positive. Ive been so tired recently and stressed and 150% bloated all the time... i think what my body and mind need is just some rest, but its only one more week and a day left before i get a weeks break. And that is very reassuring, also knowing that its getting closer and closer to my graduation which i am longing for!!

Anyway, to get back to the positives of my day!!

First off i got more than 8 hours sleep on a school night, which is very rare for me!!

I had a super awesome morning workout, felt very strong, though i must admit... im longing until my break so that i can start doing some more boxing and running. I feel i need some variation now!

My presentation went well and i got an A for my speech script and also an A for my actual speech, so i am very happy with that!!!

Lunch was super delicious and kept me full until i came home!

Sent in my history essay, the deadline is on Sunday but i felt i was 99% done with it and just wanted it out of the way. (Though in my next lesson i got a new even bigger assignment... but thats school life!)

Tomorrow is Friday and 2 of my lessons are cancelled so i have lots of time after my morning lesson to do whatever i want to do.... like workout as well as get lots of work done so i dont have to do it during the weekend!! But also i have a fun evening planned tomorrow :)

This evening im going to have a little mini spa evening because i dont have any work to do, apart from watch a film which i then have to write an assignment on..... but watching the film isnt too difficult!!
Also going to clean my room... not so fun, but it will feel great once my room is clean :) Thats the best part, even if actual cleaning isnt so fun :)

Had a delicious - as usual - afternoon snack. Greek yoghurt with nuts, 3 fried eggs, coffee and some salted peanuts but on the side!

So many positives today!!1 It feels great :) Also my energy is on top which is awesome!!!

I hope you have all had a nice day :)

  1. Why do you eat so many nuts.. almost every day, or many days in a week?
Do you like nuts or do you think, it is important to eat al lot of nuts? Or do you need it becuase of your C. F. ?
I am only curious^^ And I loove nuts, but i cant eat it often because i dont stomach it and i think they have a lot of fat, but i know it is the good sort of fat.

    1. I absaloutely love nuts!! Best thing i know.. plain or salted or covered in chocolate, all soo good :) But because i have CF its important for me to eat healthy fats aswell, so that just gives me a reason why i eat so much!! haha
Well yes, nuts are calorie dense and have alot of healthy fat... but its healthy fat. Though of course i know i eat quite a large amount of them which might not be good for everyone, haha. But you shouldnt be scared of nuts or their fat content!

  2. today a pretty good and positive day for me too :)

ps your snack looks delicious! yum!

    1. Thank you :) And im glad you had a good day, i hope you have had a great Friday as well!
