Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

What do i believe in?

I got inspired by Kendels post: What do i believe in

And thought i would write my own post about... what i believe in. I am going to stay away from religion as i dont want to talk about it on here as there are so many different beliefs and well, im not particularly religious. But i think if someone believes in a God(s) then that is absolutely great and i believe that can help you if that works for you :)

Though what i do believe in is Hard work. Many people like to sit and wish and dream about certain things... whether its wanting that new Iphone 6 or wanting to run a half marathon or wanting to recover or whatever a dream a person may have. And its great to have dreams and goals but in the end... without hard work those goals wont be achieved.
Even if its just something like a new mobile phone... that often requires work... you need to work for the money to buy a new phone or if you want to run a half marathon you need to actually do the training and push yourself with hard work to run that distance. Or maybe you want to travel the world, well that requires money and some type of knowledge and planning. For some people they may just jump on a plane and start travelling the world, but in the end they will have to work hard to keep travelling and to experience everything they want to or they will become severely disappointed.

I also believe in Good luck.
Just like Kendel mentioned in her post some people win the lottery and become a millionaire over night or they win 100 000 every month or something else. That is good luck, or maybe come from wishing and hoping, but that doesnt come from hard work. Some people do just have good luck!! There is a man (cant remember from which country) who won the jackpot lottery twice!! Imagine that.
Good luck isnt necessarily something you can work for, it just comes. Unexpectedly, sometimes to the right people and sometimes not!! Though of course some people combined with hard work have good luck, things happen in the right moment of the right time!!!

I also believe in some type of faith/the universe/positive energy.
My mum has always told me to think positive about everything. To say my wishes and dreams out loud or make collage boards or write down my wishes and goals and combined with hard work its surprising how many of the things i have wished for have come true. Its not by magic, but sometimes it feels like things i have wished for have just come true.... even if lots of them require hard work and others from good luck or something?
But i truly believe in the power of positivity and also having wishes and saying them out loud or writing them down. Even if the wishes might not magically come true, but i believe that they give you some type of direction even if its unconsciously!!!

  1. So materialistic. A phone? The lottery? Believe in something that matters and makes a difference, that makes you grow.
