My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Snow storm, studying and afternoon snack

Hello :)
   Soo... how have i spent my day? Mostly infront of the computer. This morning despite eating a big breakfast and getting some caffeine into me, it just wasnt enough to give me any mental energy or clarity and i soon realised why. The weather!! If its a grey or rainy day i feel very down, have very little energy to anything and can find it hard to feel happy or to study or do anything productive. But i decided to crack open an energy drink and get to work and actually... it helped alot! I like to save my energy drinks for those long school days or early morning workouts, but today it was much needed and helpful. Though whenever i turned my back or went to get water my mum would take a sip of my energy drink... which is really weird as she is very anti energy drinks because of the aspartame as well as the taurin (hence why i try not to drink more than one or two per week, and preferably none at all. But i love them and they are great for that extra energy kick!), But she actually liked it.... she wouldnt drink a whole one or buy one for herself, but she said she didnt mind taking some sips of mine! XD



Finally having some mental energy i got to work and spent almost 4 hours writing an analysis and discussion as well as answering some emails :) So very productive, but then by 3.30pm it was dark outside and a snowstorm outside. It was just white and dark outside... you can barely see anything and the snow is piling high on our balcony. Not so fun at all, but also because i had planned a walk in town with my date or doing something anyway.... but now when this awful weather is affecting me so much as well as it would be hard to take myself anywhere, it feels like it will be a Saturday night inside. But i'll see, no plans are confirmed. Who knows maybe i can get him to pick me up XD

For now though its time to refuel with a snack! Rice pudding, blueberries, carrot bread with spread,salted nuts (didnt eat all of them in the bowl :)) and hot chocolate :)

  1. I'm right there with you on having school work but, I have online classes so planning study/work time has been an adjustment. This morning mom made some apples with peanut butter and I ate it without thinking and because I was hungry. Then I made blueberry white chocolate muffins (Sally's Baking Addiction Master Muffin Mix recipe), because I have been stressed and making big, sugary muffin is what would make me feel better. No regrets or anxiety about it at all! Might take a break from schoolwork and get a shower and then a snack. How do you balance working out and school? I have been so stressed that working out is not what my body is asking for right now.

    1. Sounds delicious :) :) Especially the muffins! I wrote a post about stress and school work and how i get everything done in a few posts back. But with working out and school, i do what i feel like. This weekend im just resting, so no workouts. Even if i have energy and maybe not that much school work i just feel my body needs teh rest. So listen to your body :) Some weeks you need 5 rest days other weeks one rest day other weeks 3 rest days. School work should ALWAYS come before exercise. Always. Exercise should help you, make you feel better. You shouldnt feel stressed about getting it done or that its a pain to have to workout, instead skip working out then :)

  2. How do you get your hair so white and not yellow? Do you use purple shampoo or smth? Your haircolor is so beautiful blond:)

    1. I use a 'silver shampoo' or so its called, its actually blue :) That helps... but my hair does have a bit of a yellow tone sometimes. Depends on how i treat my hair and what shampoo i use!

Would you tell your date that you blog? would you let your future partners read your blog? how long do you think you will blog? do you ever feel people judge you when you tell them that you blog? (because from my view blogging has always seemed like a silly thing which 12 year olds do and just write about themselves for attention? not that you do that.)

  7. I had two rice cake with a slic of ham as well as an individual Christmas pudding ! Yeah, I know, it's supposed to be over but I'm feeling nostalgic and besides, I need food for my body ! ;)
