Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Reasons to recover

"Doing well" "Looking healthy" "Filling out" ...things not to say...

  1. Thanks for this amazing post! Recovery is so worth it but it's a hard thing to do! But I want my life back and I'm going to fight for it!

    1. :):) It is hard, but it is definitely worth it!!

  2. the last one was the hardes but also the best reason for me <3 thank you :)

  3. Thanks for your amazing blog, it is so inspirational. I was wondering how long it took for your body/hair/skin to start to feel healthy and back to normal after you started eating properly?

    1. Thank you :)
Its hard to answer because i dont really know, it happened gradually... it took a few weeks, if not months i can say that anyway. But i can highly recommend adding omega 3 and E vitamin to your diet as they are good for your hair, skin and nails and then eating enough food and drinking enough water is good for your body and organs :) But give it time, you dont really notice that things like that are getting better or changing. Its like one day you just wake up and realise your hair is alot thicker or your skin looks better etc

    2. Thank you so much for replying. I read your blog everyday. I am so encouraged by you that I even had pizza for the first time in 8 years yesterday. You are incredible!
