Life without Anorexia

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.
I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.
I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.
I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.

Perfect breakfast and rest weekend

This morning when i woke up i wasnt feeling so hungry, so instead i just ate an apple, some raisins and a coffee and washed my hair and took daisy for a short walk so she could do her business. And when the hunger started kicking in i made myself a big breakfast!
I love big meals, infact i would much rather eat like 4-5 big meals than 7-8 small meals throughout the day though in all honesty, inbetween my big actual meals i have lots of small snacks as well! Having to write down everything i eat would be an absaloute pain!!
This weekend i have decided to take a rest weekend. The stomach pain from yesterday is gone and im feeling fine, not even tired. Though im going to give my body lots of rest so that my body can really recover and repair from the past few weeks of workouts (of course i take rest days, but i do believe that sometimes your body just needs a few more days of rest!). So yesterday was an unplanned restday (i.e i had planned to workout but i didnt because i didnt feel well :)) and then this weekend the no workouts will continue! Lets hope i dont get too much excess energy and begin crawling the walls :) Instead im just going to watch films, study and clean!
Here is my breakfast today:
500g+ quark, blueberries, raspberries, nuts. 2 crisp bread with spread and chicken,a boiled egg, home made hot chocolate with warm soya milk, green tea!
