Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Following my New Years tradition

Ever since 2012 on January the 1st ive gone out for a run in the morning. Of course 2012 i wasnt really 'allowed' to run, hahah. But its been a tradition ever since and i wasnt planning on skipping it this year. I was super excited to run aswell, just because its a sort of personal tradition doesnt mean i have to do it. But i wanted to :)
^^Looking tired before the caffeine kicks in
So i ate a small pre run breakfast, got ready and out i went! It was so slippery to begin with so i had to keep changing my route and pretty much slide forward. But then i reached an area where the ice had melted and so i just kept running and running and it felt like i was flying. The time and distance just passing me by and before i knew it i had run alot further than i thought i would. 90 minutes later i was home again and jumped into the shower before making myself a huge brunch.

Now im sure you think i cant eat this all..... and you're right. I didnt eat the raspberries because they were too cold!! XD But everything else went down easily :)
-> 3 fried eggs in coconut oil, rice pudding with raisins and nuts, 2 pancakes from a pancake mix topped with cottage cheese and rapsberrries, a questbar and coffee. So delicious and a good way to start the new day and new year!!!!

Now my legs and body are so tired and in a bit of a food coma, so its time for a series or film :)

P.s remember, if you want to see progress with exercise you have to eat enough! I love running and love running distance runs, but i know that my body will so easily break down itsself and i can lose weight. So to insure that doesnt happen i eat LOTS otherwise i will just be going backwards and wont have energy to run distance runs!!

  2. stupid question but it has always made me wonder :) why don't you heat up the raspberries in the microwave so that they won't be frozen?? :) sorry for such a random question :p

    1. haha dont worry :)Its because then they become too warm and really mushy, which i dont like. I still want them to keep their 'form' so its not just raspberry mush. And when i have frozen raspberries on oatmeal or eggcake then the raspberries sort of defrost :)

    2. Lol, i have always wondered the same thing:D

  3. I was planning to go for a run today but since we have guests coming there was not time as I had to help preparing.Aand I had my first quest bar today!! Not exactly what I was expecting but it was so good!! I hope you have a lovely day!!

    1. You can run anyday, so thats ok. Spending time with family and helping out is important and much better as well :)
Which flavour did you try? They vary alot in consistency depending on the flavour... some are really hard, some are sort of chewy and others are soft :)
