Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

The night before Christmas eve

For all the Scandinavians, tomorrow is celebration time!! For all the rest of you, you need to wait another day!!! XD
Here in Sweden and in the rest of Scandinavia we celebrate on the 24th, so that means in only a few hours :) Though i mean when it comes to present time... that isnt done until the evening anyway.

Today after preparing Christmas food, packing and getting ready we filled the car with all our bags and set off on the road to my step dads mums place. Long car journeys in the dark remind me of when i was a child and used to travel 90 minutes every Friday to spend the weekend with my dad!!

When we arrived we got mulled wine (glögg) and gingerbread (pepparkakor) with stilton cheese. We then began preparing (i.e heating up) the food and it was salmon sausages, potatoes, cheese and kale pie and brussel sprouts. Though as i neither like sausages or potatoes i ate the pie and some other things as well as the delicious cheese and kale pie!! When dinner was finished i brought out my ginger bread cake and i can say it was soo good. I had to have 2 large pieces just because it was like heaven in my mouth!! The recipe will be up tomorrow :) (MAKE IT. Yes, you have to... if you like cheese cake, white chocolate or ginger bread or all 3 then you will love this cake!)

And then it was free time... which im spending on my own - to get some me time and writing some posts and also... eating some chocolate!!! I got a package from a reader containing chocolate and oh my gosh!! Milka, i love it :) The Chips Ahoy Milka you cant get in Sweden so that one was extra good  :) And i can admit.... 75% of the chips ahoy and 50% of the oreo is already gone!!There is no such thing as too much food during Christmas time :) Chocolate disappears so easily, one second its there and the next its gone XD

Ive had a lovely evening and soon im planning on joining my family or wathcing a series before i go to bed as tomorrow will be a long day!!!

I hope you are alll doing ok and can look forward to the Christmas celebrations!! :)

So many photos, hahaha XD
