Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Christmas joy!!

You would think that after a day of eating and resting that i would be filled with energy, but infact its quite the opposite. Feeling more tired now - after spending the whole day sitting compared to after a 10km run!! :)
So instead of writing lots, ill just post a few photos :)

We had a delicious lunch which was lots of different food, we ate chocolate - i was first to open the box!, we watched the traditional 'Kalle Anka' and then we spent 90 minutes opening presents - as we take it in turns and the person giving the gift (i.e the person who has wrapped and bought the gift) should make a sort of guessing rhyme so the person recieving the gift can try to guess what it is before opening it!
It was nice to see what everyone got and how happy they were. I got some really nice gifts - some running things, a mobile phone cover which was very much needed and a gift voucher to buy some more sports things, haha XD

After that i continued eating!!! Bread with cheese, gingerbread cake and to finish it off two rounds of quark with granola and nuts!! (this is what happens when there is no proper dinner or snacks!).... my step dads mum actually commented on the amount i ate and couldnt quite understand how i could fit it into me.... I just laugh it off with a.... 'lots of exercise means lots of food' and then i continue to eat and not care :)
Older people are often those who comment most about food! But not caring what they say or think is the best way to go about it :)

I then watched a film on the TV with my family and now i am feeling too tired so about to go to bed!!
Its also started snowing now!! I like it but at the same time i dont... its so much colder and also will make it so much harder to run or walk outside now :/ But i might as well enjoy the snow while its here and secretly hope that it will go away soon!

^^The hard decision of which chocolate to eat first!
