Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

3rd advent celebrations with buns and tea

Today I have had such a lovely day with my friends!!!
One of my friends had invited  a group of us - those of us who still feel close anyway -to her house for some freshly baked buns and tea/hot chocolate.

There were vanilla buns, cinnamon buns, vanilla biscuits, syrup  biscuits and marshmallows & cream for the hot chocolate.

We sat there for four hours and just talked and laughed and ate the delicious goodies!!! So full from everything, but it was soo good :)
After everything going on in my life it felt so good to just laugh and talk and be with my friends. To let everything out,  even if I didn't talk about what was bothering me. Laughing is a seriously good medicine :)

This evening I'm going to try to write some blog posts and prepare my week for next week as I have no school lessons but need to work on my project.  So need to plan that and see where I will be and what I will do etc :)
I hope you have all had a lovely evening!

  1. Hi, can I ask something silly? why would you people like to use candle at food table? I'm not from your country and we have a very different culture, and i like to know more about yours. We usually only use candles when there is black out hahah.
