Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Family evening

Tonught was an evenign filled with lots of family time and lots of laughter and talking. Not how i thought i would spend my evening at all...
While i was making dinner my sister came home and we ended up standing in the kitchen and talking for almost an hour, and by the time dinner was ready my mum was home so she ate with us as well - they ate fish and i ate chicken. We talked about lots of things and sat there for a while, many different topics discussed. And then after dinner my sister and i kept talking while i made tea, but by the time i actually got to drink my tea it was cold, haha!! Lots of laugher and old memories brought up! Reminiscing and laughing at old memories!
It is only now around 9pm that i have time to watch series and just sort of rest for the evening and have my own time! I am also enjoying a super delicious meal, my mum came home with 'just the necessities' until we go food shopping either tomorrow or Saturday. So i could enjoy my quark with nuts once again (true love) and she had even bought some chocolate covered nuts - so had to have some of course :):)

Its nice to have family time because i do admit, im not the best at being super social when i am at home. I am often so caught up with studies or too tired to be social, so it can feel like sometimes the whole week passes and ive barely talked to my family. So then moments like this are really appreciated as i know they dont happen so often :)

I hope you have all had a lovely evening and day! Soon its the weekend ;)
