Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Chocolate pancake snack

As its Friday it means that the contents in the fridge and the pantry is next to zero and trying to make a snack or lunch or dinner becomes very difficult. So its times like this where i turn to protein powder - which i try avoid using too much as i already get so much protein from my diet (and yes, i am aware that too much protein isnt good!) but also because there is aspartame in the protein powders i have.... but today it was basically, use protein powder or drink water as a snack. Hahaha.
So pancakes & casein & nuts & dark chocolate was my after school snack!!! Much needed. I was only in school for a few hours today but it was for 2 hours before i headed to school and then while i was there. So this evening i am tuning out from school thinking and from social media. And this weekend once again its

Dont forget that if you have questions its BETTER to comment on my blog (you can anonymous) or use my FAQ or search on my blog. Or write smaller emails/just your questions - its alot easier and faster to answer your questions then!

  1. Is casein also just protein? Sorry, never heard of it before other than that it's 80% of the protein in cow's milk.

    1. Yeah :) Its just that it is a slow protein so takes around 6-8 hours for it all to be absorbed :)
