Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

I am a generally happy girl who loves running, going to the gym and eating food!! Though my life has been very different.
I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia & purging tendencies & over exercising. I was depressed and self harmed. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
After alot of struggles, lots of ups and downs, suicide attempts, tears, anxiety, panic and never thinking i would be healthy.
I am now declared healthy from anorexia nervosia.

I have been blogging for 4 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I am happy and healthy and living my life. Going to school, meeting friends and trying to find myself in this world.

I write about my daily life, but also try to write posts about how it was when i was sick, advice and tips.
I am open and friendly, so dont be scared about writing a post or sending me an email at:

Start of my autumn break

Monday morning and the official start of my autumn break!!
I have no plans for this week at all... it kind of sucks actually. Of course its nice to just choose what to do everyday but at the same time, i dont want this week to pass by and all i have done is watch series, eat, study and workout... thats pretty much what i do during school weeks as well, its just that now i spend more time on each!!!

Im going to try to make some tpe of plan or do something during the next few days anyway. Hopefully go to the cinema, go out for lunch with my mum and im thinking maybe invite my friends over for dinner if im not invited to their house for something like a movie night/game night/dinner etc... Though a few of my friends are busy working or away this break, but hopefully a few of them have time to meet up!!!

Today i started my day with a super delicious breakfast: Egg white oatmeal, quark & cottage cheese, walnuts, raspberries & 2 eggs :) = Super breakfast with lots of energy!

Yesterday i also changed a few things in my diet and its helped a little with my stomach and bloating, not as much discomfort or bloating as last week... but its still there. However if i stick tot hese changes for a week or two (and keep sticking to them) im pretty sure it will pass.... But the most important thing is to keep eating and drinking anyway, even if i have stomach pain and bloating. Its just changing what, when and how much i eat.

I also want to give a tip to those of you who have to take lots of medicine....(Im sure you are all smarter than me and realised this before) but adding juice (i.e the kind you mix with water... or just the premade juice in a carton) makes taking medicines alot easier!!
Each morning it takes 2 glasses of water i.e c.a 700ml just to swallow all my medicine and i need 1,5 glass in the evening.... and i take alot of medicines that leave a nasty taste in the mouth. But if i add juice to my water its alot easier to swallow all the pills without gagging ;);)
Just an advice... && Juice is delicious :):)
