Life without Anorexia

My motto is
'Dont let the sadness of your past & the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present'

My life at the moment is completely different to how it once was. I spent 5 years sick with anorexia nervosia and depression as well as struggling with self harm and overexercising. I spent 2 years in different treatment centres.
And since 2012 i have been declared healthy from my eating disorder.

I have been blogging for 7 years, and my whole journey is written in my posts. I now represent healthy and happiness. I want to show anyone struggling that it is possible to recover, no matter how hard it may seem.

I now blog about recovery, my life, veganism and positivity!

Tuesday

Today has been a day where i haven't felt like blogging at all, little motivation. Other things on my mind really, and that's ok. It's not always easy to sit down and write when you have nothing to write. Nothing special or noteworthy has happened today, and i haven't gotten that spark of creativity which i get when i write my inspirational, motivational or advice posts ;)
This week however is very stressful and has (still does) require alot of planning just to make everything roll by. So that takes time and energy as well.

This evening i've also been planning what i will be for my school photo tomorrow - infact that reminds me, i need to choose an outfit for just my normal photo!!! - I'm also going to have a 'dress up' photo. Where my class has chosen that we all dress up as some character ;)
I've now decided who i am going to be.... maybe you can try to figure out/guess from the picture below, but i will tell you all tomorrow... (and if i dont, remind me :))

^^Hahah, ok might be hard to figure out from just this ;)

Otherwise... My email account is messing up!!! I'm not receiving every ones emails, my account is deleting messages before i read them and also only half of my message or a bunch of weird characters or being sent as replies... so I'm sorry for that. Not sure if its something weird happening with my account :( If it continues, I'll have to make a new email account. But ill see how it goes for another week or two... and please tell me if you don't get my replies as they don't seem to be coming through.

Now its time for dinner and some series watching.... my own Me time and relaxing :)

Whats YOUR favourite thing to do to relax and just take some 'Me' time? :)

    1. I didn't think it was so obvious from the photos, but it seems like it was. But that's a good thing, then people will be able to figure out what i dressed up as!

  3. Yes I knew you were the queen from frozen as well, you look gorgeous! ;) To relax I like to watch anything with Karl Pilkington, have you heard of him? He's really funny :) By the way, have you seen the new ben & jerry flavour "satisfy my bowl", it is released in sweden this week, I don't know about the banana flvour, but i might try it just cause. As I'm writing this i realize that you're allergic to bananas xD

    1. Hahah, i didn't think it was so obvious, maybe it was! :) And thank you.
I've never heard of him, but im going to google him now... i might have seen something he's in.
Ohhh, i didn't know that a new flavour was coming but i HAVE to try it!! I might just have tot ake the consequences of eating banana and try that ice cream anyway... I said to myself back in 2010 that i wanted to try all the B&J flavours :) Didn't think i ever would eat a B&J again, but i put it on my bucketlist anyway!

  4. You're so pretty! :) I think a braid looks good on you, you should wear a braid more often (just a suggestion) And that dress is very nice too. Where did you get it?
When I need to take a brake I usually just stay home and lay in bed, read a good book or watch some series, cuddle with my dog, drink some tea. My home is like a little oasis I can escape to. I also like opening the balcony door or window, so it gets a little chilly and I wrap myself in multiple blankets and hug my dog (shes always super warm! Like a hot water bottle, haha!) I like getting warm when it's a bit cold. Sounds weird like wouldn't it be easier to just close the door/window? But I like blankets, knee socks, warm pets, hot tea and for the air to be cool.
If I can't relax for long I just light some candles and sit in my room, watch the candles burn. It calms me a little. Just clear my mind.

    1. It was my sister who did my hair and i actually thought it looked really good as well ;) So i might start wearing it like that... if i can figure out how to make it look good when i do it myself :)
That all sounds really cosy and a good way to relax and take a break :) Sounds like you are the type of person who likes autumn or winter? Though maybe im completly wrong :)

    2. Well, your sister did a good job! Ahaha, no actually you are completely right! Though I prefer a mix of weather. Not too much of anything. But if I had to pick a favorite season it would be autumn, towards November, would be my favorite :)

  5. Close my room's door, get my headphones on, put some clubbing/training music really loud, and dance/jump/whatever in the dark. It really helps steam off once you've found the perfect playlist. Or B&W drawing, for like hours.
